Berlin, 8 November 2016 – GP Bullhound announces today the appointment of Jörg Sievert as Investment Committee member for GP Bullhound Sidecar III.
Jörg is a passionate and highly experienced investment professional with more than 15 years of experience investing in technology companies, committed to creating returns for investors.
Most recently, Jörg was a Managing Director for Aeris Capital, a Swiss single family office, where he managed tech direct investments. Prior to this, Jörg was a co-founder and Managing Partner at SAP Ventures, responsible for Europe and Israel. Jörg was also Head of Strategic Sales and Business Consulting (CEE) at BEA Software.

With an excellent track record in direct investments, Jörg has successfully managed numerous turn-around situations after taking over existing portfolios. Jörg has experience in developing and executing investment strategies for long term resilience in venture capital, and in developing and managing the operational foundation for a venture capital organization.
Jörg is an engineer with a deep technology background and received a Ph.D. in computer science in distributed systems from the University of Karlsruhe. He learned about VC and PE investing at 3i in Stuttgart and about large corporates as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton.
