Fingerprint Cards wins GP Bullhound’s Summit Superstar Award

Marbella, 23 May 2016 – Following in the footsteps of previous winners: King.com, Just Eat, BlaBlaCar, Rovio, Klarna, LeoVegas and Net-a-Porter, world leading provider of biometric fingerprint solutions Fingerprint Cards won the coveted 2016 GP Bullhound Summit Superstar Award at GP Bullhound’s annual invitation-only Summit in Marbella.

Once a year, GP Bullhound brings together a select group of 100 founders and business leaders of some of the most inspiring and high performing companies in the digital economy, spending 36 hours sharing insights and looking at new trends.

This year, the invitation-only event took place in Marbella and saw talks from Mark Read, CEO of Wunderman / WPP Digital, Mark Curtis, Founder of Fjord-Accenture, and Gustaf Hagman, CEO & Co-founder of LeoVegas, as well as discussions on the critical developments in the digital economy, key trends, virtual and augmented reality, the pursuit of talent, and GP Bullhound’s latest findings on the European Unicorns which were revealed exclusively to the audience.

Four high growth companies were selected to present and compete for the Summit Superstar Award: Innogames, Uniplaces, Essence and Fingerprint Cards. The winner of the Summit Superstar 2016, as voted for by the group, is the Swedish phenomenon Fingerprint Cards, the world leader in biometric fingerprint solutions that outperformed every other european stock in 2015 with 1,391% growth, led by CEO Jörgen Lantto.
