Julian Riedlbauer

Julian joined GP Bullhound as a Partner in August 2012 and is head of the German office. Previously Julian was the founder and managing partner of the M&A boutique Pure Equity Advisors which was acquired by GP Bullhound. Before founding Pure Equity Advisors, Julian was a managing director at Corporate Finance Partners, an international financial advisory firm focusing on the sectors Internet, media and technology. In 2011 alone, he completed M&A projects with an aggregated transaction volume of EUR 300m. Prior to working as an advisor, Julian build up extensive M&A experience on the sell- and buy-side as an entrepreneur and manager of leading IT and internet companies. From 1991 to 1998, Julian founded and managed Connect Service Riedlbauer GmbH, a leading networking-equipment distributor. He sold his company in 1998 to the competitor NT plus. Since then, Julian constantly worked in the top management of TMT-companies, e.g. at AddCom (sold to Tiscali) and for 4.5 years at the ElectronicPartner Group with a responsibility for EUR 1bn annual revenues as managing director of EP:Germany and comTeam.
