Investment Management – Analyst

The role offers the opportunity to work within the Firm’s Venture Capital & Growth Fund in London. The Firm currently manage four funds, investing in fast-growing European technology businesses, from early stage to pre-IPO. The candidate should have at least 1-2 years’ experience within a bulge bracket investment bank or a leading consulting firm with an excellent academic background, having graduated with at least a 2:1 or equivalent from a top tier university in a field related to economics and finance. Candidates will have developed skills in financial modelling, valuation and corporate finance, market mapping and competitive analysis, and have a genuine passion for the technology sector and investments. The candidate must be a team player, self-starter, keen to take on responsibility and be motivated, proactively taking on initiatives while delivering on the day-to-day tasks in an accurate and timely manner.  The candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mind set. Key qualities include a high degree of maturity and initiative, and the ability to work effectively within a team based in multiple offices while liaising with members of the wider organisation.

The candidate should be a strong advocate of the GP Bullhound culture and values, both inside and outside of work, and be capable of undertaking the following:

  • Maintaining country-wide and thematic sourcing lists
  • Researching and analysing potential investments opportunities
  • Mapping the competitor and industry landscape
  • Support in structuring, negotiating and executing investments
