GP Bullhound appoints Alexandra Jarvis, Nikolas Westphal and Alon Kuperman

London and Berlin, 7 April 2017 – GP Bullhound, the European technology investment bank, today announced three senior appointements to strengthen its Advisory and Investment activities.

Alexandra Jarvis joins GP Bullhound as Director, London

Alexandra is an expert in UK public markets and has worked on numerous IPOs and fundraisings for technology companies. Prior to joining GP Bullhound, Alexandra was a Senior Research Analyst and Partner at Peel Hunt LLP, where her clients included many leading small-mid cap technology companies in sectors such as cyber and information security, healthcare IT, managed services, consumer electronics and semiconductors. Alexandra was rated Number 1 Stock-Picker in Europe for Software & Services in the 2016 Starmine Awards and she holds an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University.

Dr. Nikolas Westphal joins GP Bullhound as Director, Berlin

Nikolas is a passionate and highly experienced investment banker with more than eleven years of experience advising communications, media and technology (CMT) companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as a broad range of other capital market transactions. Most recently, Nikolas was a Vice President at Arma Partners, where he advised a broad range of European CMT clients on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Nikolas worked for six years in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, serving European Media & Communications clients. In addition, he spent two years at Blackstone’s refinancing advisory (now part of PJT Partners). Nikolas has a track record of more than $40 billion of closed transactions to date. He holds a doctorate in financial economics from Leipzig Graduate School of Management – HHL.

Alon Kuperman joins GP Bullhound as Principal, London

Alon has over 10 years of experience in tech investments and advisory. Prior to GP Bullhound, Alon worked at Atomico, a London based Venture Capital firm founded by Skype founder Niklas Zennstrom. At Atomico, Alon worked closely with companies such as Klarna, Hailo, OneTwoTrip, Rovio, Mapillary and PedidosYa (sold to Delivery Hero). Prior to Atomico, Alon worked at Silver Lake Partners in London focusing on European technology buyouts. While at Silver Lake, Alon worked on the sale of Skype to Microsoft. Alon started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and graduated from the London School of Economics with a First Class Honours.
