GP Bullhound awarded for Financial Services Deal of the Year, for the sale of Pozitron to Monitise
GP Bullhound named as winner at M&A Advisor Dealmakers’ Awards 2014

London, 27 October 2014 – GP Bullhound, the international dealmakers in technology, was announced a winner of the 2014 Dealmakers’ Awards, in the category Financial Services Deal of the Year, for the sale of Pozitron to Monitise.

The 2014 Dealmakers’ Awards Ceremony honoured the leading deal teams and firms whose activities set the standard for M&A transactions in the UK and Europe.

The nominations, representing over 160 award finalist companies, were judged by an independent jury of industry experts. The Dealmakers’ Awards were presented at the exclusive ceremony held during the 2014 International Financial Forum at Bloomberg’s European Headquarters on Wednesday 22 October.

Sale of Pozitron to Monitise
GP Bullhound acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Pozitron Yazilim A.S. on its sale to Monitise Plc, in January 2014. Monitise, a world leader in Mobile Money—banking, paying and buying with a mobile device—agreed to acquire Pozitron via an all-share deal valued at $100m.
