Adam Birnbaum

Adam Birnbaum is a Director at GP Bullhound. Adam has over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking primarily focused on M&A, capital markets, restructuring, structured finance and private placements. Throughout his career, he has worked on over 100 transactions for a total aggregate value in excess of $10 billion, representing or transacting with some of the largest and most successful business services, marketing services and consumer-centric companies in the world, including Kraft, WPP, McDonalds, Learfield Communications, Cablevision, Publix, SunGard Data Systems, American Eagle Outfitters, and Jack Henry and Associates.
 
Prior to GP Bullhound, Adam worked at NY-based M&A firm AdMedia Partners for 5 years where he successfully transacted for companies focused on digital and experiential marketing, market research & analytics, and adtech. During his earlier career, Adam worked in the investment banking departments of Dean Witter and Prudential Securities where he founded and led investment banking groups focused on business services and retail/consumer oriented companies. At Prudential, he was a member of the Group Head Management Committee, Business Review Committee and sat on Prudential’s Roman Arch Venture Capital Fund Investment Committee. Adam started his career with Deloitte & Touche.
 
Adam holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University and a B.S. in International Business and Finance from New York University (magna cum laude).
