The now, near and next of the global technology sector in 2013.
January 23, 2013
For the sixth year running, GP Bullhound is publishing its Technology Predictions for the upcoming year. We expect exciting developments in 2013 that will drive utility and enjoyment for consumers and business users alike.
We believe that collaborative consumption will grow and re-invent many business models via web platforms and P2P networks. Furthermore, we predict that the education sector will be strongly impacted by the successful launching of free education resources and the adoption of new digital toys and games. The technology sector will observe increased consolidation led by the “big four” Google, Microsoft, Apple and Facebook. Additionally, we expect content to become increasingly personalized and targeted to distinct audiences in 2013.
