Thyra Hedge Fund
Vision & Strategy
The objective of Thyra Hedge is to deliver good returns in both downward and upward markets. Low correlation with the Swedish stock market and other funds going against the market, based on fundamental analysis, has proven to be a successful strategy, especially when it gets shaky on the stock market. Deep knowledge in technology sectors create a good basis for stock choices that are unique.
Irrational markets are often about risk on/risk off, which generates opportunities for active investors. We are long-term investors in our core holdings but tactical trading around our core positions can increase returns and reduce volatility. The fund’s investment strategy is flexible, meaning that the fund, under the right conditions on the market view, can eliminate a core holding for shorter periods during which volatility is foreseen.
An investment in the fund gives you a broad focus on global, market-leading technology companies. A focus of the team currently is around AI and cloud, and EV and energy efficiency. We own the semiconductor building blocks enabling each of these themes, as well as the software businesses we think are likely to benefit.
The goal is to create opportunities for a good risk-adjusted return through the management team’s area expertise and fundamental stock analysis.
