Six months in, the picture is clearing.
Founders are building category-defining companies, capital is selective but moving with conviction, and we’re proud to be trusted by leaders making those decisions. Here is what our first half looked like.
Deal Highlights
After a period of uncertainty across tech, from the so-called SaaSpocalypse to questions around where AI value will land, H1 ’26 saw momentum build with 4 of our 11 deals closing in June.
We’re proud to have acted as trusted advisor to leaders in these defining moments, from the Founders of Uncovered to investors such as Francisco Partners and strategic acquirers like Admiral Group plc. A strong signal of renewed confidence in the technology sectors we know best.

From AI to Robotics: The Research defining 2026

- The AI race is on. Europe has more to play for than people think. In June we published Europe’s AI Opportunity: New Era of AI Innovation Driving European Tech, our definitive take on where AI value is created and who is capturing it.
- Bullhound Capital published their Robotics Report this half, examining the technologies and structural forces shaping the industry’s next chapter.
- Five years in, the questions keep getting sharper. GP Bullhound’s European Software Survey is back. Are you a European software company? See how you stack up.
Subsector Expertise, Powered by Data
Independent. Focused. True tech investment banking.
Technology moves fast and asymmetrically in different markets. Our subsector expertise brings highly credentialed, research-led perspectives to dealmaking.
Every recommendation is underpinned by CANIS, our proprietary AI platform built for technology dealmaking — tracking 200+ subsector signals across 700+ closed deals. This is the competitive advantage we bring to every conversation. Deep human expertise, proprietary intelligence, and relationships built over 27 years of dealmaking.

Events
There’s nothing we enjoy more than being in the room with Founders, CEOs and operators building the future of technology. H1 ’26 took us from Manchester to Cannes, and everywhere in between.
In April we celebrated 13 years of the Northern Tech Awards. 230 founders, CEOs and leaders, and one extraordinary night at the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester. Congratulations to the winners.
We also laced up for the Allstars charity football tournament supporting our charity partner Working Options. For those who prefer trophies off the pitch, our Allstars Awards, the “Oscars of the tech world”, are coming up soon in October. Visit the website for more information.
Bullhound Inner Circle
Supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of the journey, not just at the transaction, has always been central to how we work.
The Bullhound Inner Circle is built on exactly that belief. Entrepreneurs who’ve built, scaled and exited, working with us, shaping what comes now for the next generation. Watch this space.
