ECI Invested in Imagesound

Music curation and media solutions for brands.

London, May 2016 - GP Bullhound acted as financial advisor to ECI on its acquisition of a majority stake in Imagesound Group, a leading supplier of audio and screen media operating through its Imagesound and Musicstyling divisions.

The group has an international roster of high quality customers to which it provides a full service proposition including consultation, installation, music profiling and servicing of equipment. Imagesound provides corporate messaging and brand support through music and video subscription to various sectors including retailers, health clubs, and pubs and restaurants. Musicstyling provides bespoke consultation and customised music subscription services to luxury hotel groups in 124 countries.

ECI focuses on backing management teams in growth companies valued between £20 million and £150 million; it has invested in more than 250 companies to date and has helped to build many successful businesses including Fourth Hospitality, Laterooms and CarTrawler. The firm manages more than £1.6bn of committed capital and is currently investing its 10th fund, which totals £0.5bn.
