RealityMine announced that £11.5m has been raised in additional funding to deliver its ambitious expansion plans by continuing to bring innovative technologies to the market, launching in new territories and targeting new verticals. The round was led by Kennet Partners, a leading international growth equity firm that invests in companies in Europe and North America. Existing investors, including GP Bullhound and a number of other high profile private investors, also contributed to the funding round.
Garry Partington, Founder and CEO of RealityMine commented: “This round of investment enables RealityMine to continue cementing its role as one of the world’s leading providers of technology and data solutions. We’re thrilled to be leading the field in revealing the insights behind the data, and helping to solve key business challenges for our clients. As an adviser and investor GP Bullhound has supported us throughout our growth phase.”
Hillel Zidel, Partner at Kennet Partners commented: “RealityMine has been able to achieve significant growth in a capital efficient manner in its short history as a company. By providing clients with both passive metering and contextual panel data, its technology offers something unique in the market. We are very excited to be partnering with the company as it enters its next phase of growth and seeks to build on its already impressive customer base.”
Hugh Campbell, Managing Partner of GP Bullhound commented: “We have been involved with RealityMine since 2013, and have been lucky enough to witness RealityMine develop a product and service that has become integral to marketers worldwide to increase the effectiveness of their advertising spend. As more connected devices come online it is clear that brands and marketing agencies will put enormous value on the data that they use to make multi-million pound purchasing decisions. The business has achieved great success in such a short period of time and we expect that its rapid growth will continue for many years to come.”
This represents the completion of GP Bullhound’s 25th transaction in 2015 and further demonstrates the firm’s international reach and its commitment to working with category leading data analytics businesses from across Europe.
