GP BULLHOUND ADVISED APPLEARN ON ITS SALE TO NEXTHINK

Advancing Digital Solutions for Workplace Efficiency

Manchester, 29 January 2024 - GP Bullhound acted as the exclusive financial advisor to AppLearn, a provider of digital adoption platform (DAP) solutions, on its sale to Nexthink, a global leader in digital employee experience (DEX) management software.

Since its inception in 2011, AppLearn has transformed from a family-run services business into a prominent provider of digital adoption solutions, making software work for market-leading companies easier to complete, analyse and optimise. This strategic partnership merges Nexthink’s extensive experience in the DEX domain with AppLearn’s innovative DAP capabilities, offering a promising approach to minimise digital friction in the workplace and enhance IT departments’ oversight of digital projects.

Andrew Avanessian, CEO of AppLearn, remarked, “Joining forces with Nexthink is a significant leap forward in our mission to enhance DEX. With a shared vision and complementary technologies, we are well-positioned to redefine workplace efficiency and productivity.”

Javed Huq, Managing Director at GP Bullhound, stated, “AppLearn has developed a best-in-class DAP which significantly improves users’ experience across a wide selection of enterprise software applications. Its product is highly complementary to Nexthink’s portfolio who can now offer an unrivalled end-to-end DEX solution spanning clients’ hardware and software investments. We look forward to monitoring how AppLearn will contribute to Nexthink’s ambitious growth ambitions.”

This represents another recent GP Bullhound transaction in the software space, having previously advised Third Financial on its sale to Nucleus Financial Platforms and TeamSnap on its acquisition of MOJO Sports.
