Enhancing user experience through user interface and cloud gaming.

Paris, 14 December 2022 - GP Bullhound acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Altice Group and its subsidiary Wiztivi on the carve-out of Wiztivi, a leading provider of multi-screen UI/UX and cloud gaming solutions, to Lumine Group (a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc), a global acquirer of communications and media software businesses.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Nantes, France, Wiztivi is a leading provider of high engagement, device-agnostic user interface and cloud gaming solutions for connected devices. The company has a strong track record serving a blue-chip customer base of telecommunications operators and media companies including Vodafone, Orange, SFR or Liberty Global, with over 50 million devices addressed across 19 countries worldwide.

Joy Sioufi, Partner, and Miguel Kindelán, Executive Director, at GP Bullhound, commented: “It has been a pleasure to advise Wiztivi and its shareholder Altice Group on this transaction. Lumine is a perfect fit for Wiztivi and will help the company consolidate its position as leader in the User Interface and Cloud Gaming space.”

This transaction is further testament to GP Bullhound’s expertise in software-enabled services, with over 45 Digital Services deals completed in the sector in the past three years alone, having advised Newcraft on its acquisition by WPP, Talon on its investment from Equistone, Team ITG on its investment from Bridgepoint, Bliss Point Media on its acquisition by Tinuiti, and Byte on its acquisition by DEPT, among many others.
