GP Bullhound advises Admiral Group plc on its acquisition of Flock

GP Bullhound has advised Admiral Group plc on its acquisition of Flock, a digital commercial fleet insurance provider, for £80m. A leading FTSE 100 insurer known for data-led innovation and telematics, Admiral insures almost 6 million UK motorists and has been expanding its capabilities in safer driving and connected-car data for over a decade.

The acquisition strengthens Admiral’s move into commercial motor through Admiral Pioneer, building on the partnership it began with Flock in 2024. Flock’s AI and telemetry-driven platform, trained on hundreds of millions of miles of driving data, is now Admiral’s telemetry fleet insurance proposition, helping the Group scale a differentiated offering for fleet customers and accelerate growth in a high-potential segment.
